The North America Nakba Tour visited Syracuse on October 2, where speakers Khawla Hammad (Umm Mousa) and Amena el-Ashkar presented on their experiences as Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, including Umm Mousa’s personal experience as a survivor of the Nakba.

Organized by the Syracuse Peace Council Justice for Palestine Committee at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, the event was also chronicled in a new article by Annie Windholz posted at Medium: “Palestinian Voices Shed Light on ‘Invisible Refugees.'”
